Art On Life is the latest exhibition at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts. The opening was on Friday evening and it’s a really good show! I have two works on display – PALLIARE and OCCASIONAL RED. The exhibition is on from 10th March – 8th April 2012 http://www.nzafa.com/web/art-life-10-march-8-april-2012
I’m giving myself some experimenting time right now and working with colour. Here are two great resources I can wholeheartedly recommend:
http://www.justpaint.org/jp26/ This is a must read article, Color Mixing, by Patty Brady, the Working Artists’ Director at GOLDEN Paints.
http://www.paintbasket.com/art_reviews/color_mixing_dvd_review.php This is an excellent DVD called Mastering Colour by New Zealand Painter, Richard Robinson
